Accessibility Information
We are dedicated to making the Inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for every guest. From accessible parking, grandstand seating and hospitality options, to free shuttles, ample first aid stations, and street level track crossings scheduled throughout each day; we are committed to making it possible for guests with physical challenges to more easily navigate our venue. Additional details regarding these accommodations are listed below
Accessible Parking
Each parking lot surrounding the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington venue has designated ADA parking available at spots closest to the venue entrances. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicles must have a valid parking pass for the designated lot, and a state-issued ADA placard or license plate is required to park in accessible parking spaces. Golf cart shuttles (including wheelchair-accessible carts) will be available near each parking lot entrance to transport attendees to the closest venue gate.
If there isn’t a golf cart waiting at the designated pick-up spot in a parking lot, a guest can also talk with the parking lot worker, who will be able to radio dispatch and make sure a golf cart begins to head their way.
Accessible Seating
The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington offers wheelchair-accessible and companion seating in multiple grandstands around the venue that can be purchased through SeatGeek. Specifically, the following grandstands are wheelchair-accessible: Grandstands 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 9.
- For accessible access to Grandstands 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6, please park in Lots 11, 12, 13, or 14. NOTE: The platform at Grandstand 2 is just to the north, but adjacent to Grandstand 2.
- For accessible access to Grandstand 9, please park in lots C, D or E.
- For accessible access to Grandstand 1, 7 or 8, please park in Lot M. Note that this route requires a bridge while the track is active. Make sure to allow ample time and plan to arrive ahead of an estimated street level track crossing time. Upcoming crossing times will be posted at each crossing location and on our app or website but are subject to change based on track conditions.
First Aid/Medical Services
Trained medical personnel will be on site at six (6) first aid stations located throughout the venue during open gate hours on race weekend. Specific locations of the first aid stations can be found on the venue map.
In case of an emergency, call 911 and medical personnel will respond immediately. Any guests who need assistance should locate a Guest Services representative, if possible.
Hospitality Areas
ADA Lift access is available at each of the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington hospitality areas: Pit Lane Suites, Horseshoe Club and WinStar Winners Club. Note that using the ADA Lift at either side of the Horseshoe Club (located above track) also provides access to Grandstands 3, 4, 5 and 6, and are available to the public, but priority will be given to individuals seated in wheelchairs.
Shuttle Service
Three separate shuttle routes will run continuously during open gate hours of the event weekend, providing additional assistance and ease of navigation through the venue. Wheelchair-accessible golf carts or shuttle buses will be available for each route. The shuttle routes are identified by A, B and C:
Route A: Three stops along the south side of Randol Mill Road, between the bridges placed near AT&T Way and Nolan Ryan Expressway, transporting individuals between Gate 4/Speed Trap Fan Zone/Texas Live! and Gate 3/Grandstand 1.
Route B: Four stops strategically placed around the circumference of AT&T Stadium, for easier access between the Horseshoe grandstands/concert stage, and the INDYCAR Paddock.
Route C: The longest route, with four stops spread out between Cowboy’s Way (close to Gate 2,) and AT&T Way, along E. Sanford Street to Stadium Way, connecting at Randol Mill Road. This route allows guests to move back and forth between Gate 2 and the Horseshoe, all the way to Gate 5 and the Speed Trap area.
Street Level Track Crossings
Street Level Track Crossings allow guests to cross the track at five (5) separate locations around the venue during designated times when the track is “cold” (no on-track activity.) Priority will be given to guests who are unable to climb stairs/use the bridges. Signs are posted at each location, indicating the time for the next planned track crossing. (Schedule is subject to change or cancellation, depending on race activities or track conditions.) Crossings are located:
- Between Turn 1 (near Grandstand 1) and Turn 2 (near WinStar Winners Club entrance)
- Near the Chevrolet Bridge between Turn 4 and Turn 5
- Near the Clarience Bridge over Randol Mill Road at AT&T Way, between Turns 9 and 10
- Near Tom Thumb Bridge over Randol Mill Road at Nolan Ryan Expressway, between Turns 9 & 10
- Near the Energy Transfer Bridge over Stadium Drive at Turn 11 (close to The Speed Trap and GR Cup Paddock.)
Small tents, identified as a “Street Level Crossings,” are located on each side of the track crossing locations for guests to gather between crossing times. Guest Services staff members will be available to direct the crossing operations and answer any questions.
Wheelchair Escorts
Complimentary wheelchair escort service is available to assist guests who are unable to walk long distances between the gates and their ticketed seats or hospitality area. Due to limited availability, guests may not keep the wheelchairs with them during the game. Guests can request a Wheelchair Escort from a Guest Services Representative at any of the entrance gates. When ready to depart, guests should contact a nearby Guest Services Representative or Security Guard to assist.
