ARLINGTON, Tx. (Sept 16, 2025) - The Lone Star State is once again on the action-packed NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule in 2026 with the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington, where the series will make its debut on the streets of Arlington.
The 2026 schedule was released earlier on Tuesday confirming the previously announced race date of March 15, 2026. The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington will be the third circuit on the schedule, finishing out an exciting three straight weekends of open wheel racing to kick off the 2026 season.
“The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington will be more than just a race — it will be a celebration of speed, entertainment, and community right in the heart of Arlington’s Entertainment District,” said Bill Miller, President of the Grand Prix of Arlington. “With the Cowboys, Rangers, and INDYCAR coming together, guests can expect a first-of-its-kind weekend that sets the stage for something truly special.”
The three championship organizations of INDYCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and Rev Entertainment, the official event partner of the Texas Rangers have united to create a first-of-its-kind joint venture to construct the inaugural INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington. The event partners look to create a historic weekend of racing for the city of Arlington.
The 2.73-mile street circuit will intertwine with renowned sporting venues AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and Globe Life Field, residence of the Texas Rangers. Located in the entertainment district of Arlington the Street Course promises a full weekend of exciting events including racing, music and family fun during March 2026.
The race weekend will also feature INDY NXT by Firestone and the Toyota GR Cup Series as part of the historic, world-class motorsports event. The highly competitive INDY NXT series showcases the rising stars of INDYCAR who aim to compete in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Toyota will bring its single-make Toyota GAZOO Racing North America GR Cup Series to the Grand Prix of Arlington, featuring two thrilling races over the weekend. The GR Cup features identically prepared Toyota GR86 race cars and is known for its close competition, rising talent and fast-paced action.
