ARLINGTON, Texas (Aug. 4, 2025) – The wait is over, and it’s time to celebrate. The event will represent a historic weekend for Arlington as the city welcomes its inaugural Grand Prix, drawing motorsport fans from across the country to witness world-class racing in North Texas. The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington’s 2.73-mile temporary street circuit will be seamlessly integrated into one of the nation’s most vibrant entertainment districts in the heart of the Metroplex, winding around AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in addition to the current and former homes of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium.

The 2026 INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington promises to deliver an exciting weekend of racing, music and family fun in the heart of the Entertainment District.

To mark the occasion, NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver and fan-favorite Pato O’Ward, driver of the No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Wednesday afternoon’s New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers afternoon game at Globe Life Field. The special appearance continues the celebration of Wednesday’s ticket on-sale announcement and first-of-its-kind joint venture between Penske Entertainment, the Dallas Cowboys and REV Entertainment, the official sports and entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers.

“I’m so excited to be racing in Texas again, and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES is going to put on a show in Arlington that you won’t want to miss,” said O’Ward. “It’s going to be a party. Partnering with the Dallas Cowboys and REV Entertainment is huge, and it will set the standard for how every INDYCAR race weekend should be for the teams and the fans. March can’t come soon enough.”

The three-day celebration of speed will feature a wide range of viewing options and entertainment packages. Both single-day and 3-day ticket options will be available for purchase, with general admission tickets starting at $35 on Friday, $50 on Saturday, $90 on Sunday and a weekend 3-Day GA ticket for $110 per person. Sunday reserved seats start at $135.

The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington is providing a family-friendly option, offering free admission to children under 12 in general admission areas accompanied by an adult.

“We are excited to launch ticket sales for what will be a historic event in Arlington’s Entertainment District,” said Bill Miller, President, Grand Prix of Arlington. “We look forward to delivering the ultimate guest experience to both new and existing INDYCAR enthusiasts. It’s going to be an epic weekend.”

Exclusive hospitality ticket packages are also available for the Pit Lane Suites, WinStar Winners Club (Turn 1), The Horseshoe (Turn 7) and the Speed Trap (Turn 10). Fans can purchase tickets in these exclusive seating areas featuring dual-sided pit row views, access to the paddock, viewing platforms, gourmet food, beverage options and premium parking.

In addition to reserved seating in one of the nine grandstands around the 14-turn, 2.73-mile street circuit, the 2026 Grand Prix will put a premium on the general admission guest experience. Various viewing platforms and standing room only areas will be provided to take in all the action, including a straightaway of nearly 1 mile down Randol Mill Road where speeds could approach 180 mph.

The race weekend will also feature INDY NXT by Firestone and the Toyota GR Cup Series as part of the historic, world-class motorsports event. The highly competitive INDY NXT series showcases the rising stars of INDYCAR who aim to compete in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Toyota will bring its single-make Toyota GAZOO Racing North America GR Cup Series to the Grand Prix of Arlington, featuring two thrilling races over the weekend. The GR Cup features identically prepared Toyota GR86 race cars and is known for its close competition, rising talent and fast-paced action. The series has quickly become a standout on the single-make series scene and will serve as a strong complement to the headlining NTT INDYCAR SERIES event.
